Articles distinguish basic knowledge, editorial analysis, scene illustration and verified field observation. Launch articles use basic knowledge with editorial analysis. They are not labelled as verified field observation unless a real place, date, conditions and method record can support that description.
Authorship and review
A published byline records who approved the final article. It does not convert research, sourced knowledge or editorial analysis into personal field experience. Review dates, evidence labels and sources remain visible beside the work.
Sources
We prefer research institutions, fisheries agencies, meteorological or ocean agencies and clearly identified technical material. A source supports the statement it accompanies; it does not convert the rest of an article into measured fact. Corrections and updated dates remain visible.
Photography and illustration
Homepage, category, About and Field Notes imagery uses locally stored photographs licensed under the Pexels license, with creator and source records retained in the project. Assortment-direction images are generated editorial illustrations and are labelled as such. Neither form is evidence of a catch, live water level or product test.
Equipment and commercial relationships
ROCK CURRENT sells selected fishing tackle through Shopify. Each available product page states the pack contents, current prices, delivery and return terms. Other assortment directions remain research references, not additional items for sale. Supplier photographs and claims are not represented as independent ROCK CURRENT field-test results. Any future paid placement or affiliate relationship will be disclosed beside the relevant content.
Safety and local conditions
Tide, weather, depth, access and fish behaviour are local and changeable. Articles provide editorial frameworks, never live forecasts, navigation instructions or guarantees. Readers must use official local information, regulations, vessel procedures and their own safe judgement.
Corrections
When a factual or sourcing error is found, we correct the page and update its date. Substantive corrections will be described rather than silently rewritten. Contact information appears in the footer once the formal domain and mailbox are connected.
